Unit 2713 is the first USFD apparatus out on the majority of our emergency calls. The expansive array of equipment and supplies that it carries make it Upper Saucon’s most versatile unit. It can transport up to 8 firefighters and features among other things, portable & on-board thermal imaging, hydraulic rescue tools, a computer with GPS and CAFS foam system. It carries 1000 gallons of water in its booster tank and has a 1500 GPM pump.

2714 is a 2005 International with 4-wheel drive and a 1250 GPM pump, utilizing a state of the art foam/hypro hi pressure system to minimize water damage. The unit carries 570 gallons and has a hose capacity of approximately 2700 feet.

Unit 2721 is a 2007 Fouts/International tanker. 2721 carries 3200 gallons of water and 300 gallons of foam concentrate and has a 1250 GPM Darley on-board pump. It has a portable pond that can be set up in minutes for tanker shuttle operations. It is outfitted with over 1000 feet of hard suction, supply and attack hose. Electronic dump valves allow the driver to empty water from chutes in the rear or either side of the tank without ever getting out of the cab.

2008 Ford 550 Attack Vehicle seats 3 firefighters, plus driver, carries 270 gal. water, 30 gal. class A foam for use with a CAF system. The unit is capable of pumping while rolling, has below bumper nozzles for brush 300 ft. booster line, 150 ft. pre-connect, forest utility tools. A turret gun is mounted at the front end.

Unit 2792 is capable of aiding in fighting brush fires, water rescues, and deep forest rescues. Along with our own incidents, surrounding municipalities have requested it.

This Special Response and Fire Police Unit that has a vast array of on-board and portable warning lights and signs to protect personnel operating on the township roadways. It also carries spill control materials, a portable generator, plus an assortment of hand and power tools. It’s even equipped with a refrigerator.
